When installing Windows directly from setup (not from a installation medium), if you cancel the installation or installation goes unsuccessful. You might be left with Windows temporary files. These files cannot be deleted. So to remove these space consuming files, Windows have inbuilt tool which is called Disk Cleanup.
Here is the procedure to remove these temp files.
1- Click on start button
(Windows 8 and 8.1 users move your cursor to corner of screen and click on search).
(Windows 8 and 8.1 users move your cursor to corner of screen and click on search).
2- Type Disk Cleanup.
3- Open Disk Cleanup utility from the search results.
4- Select the Disk where the temp. files are located.
5- Click on OK.
6- Select Windows temp files/folders and click on start.
7- Wait for the process to complete and the files to be removed.
